My name is Brent Anthony Vann. I was born on October 9th 1978 in Junction City Kansas. I spent most of my life in the “Inland Empire” loving baseball, skateboarding, music and drawing. I started tattooing in 1998 at Modern Tattoo in Moreno Valley at the age of 19. Being self taught with the only knowledge being from actually getting tattooed I caught a break with the help of close friend Tim Milhouse. After a year working there and the help of another close friend and long time mentor Wilmar “WORM” Rodriguez I caught another break and began working at Empire Tattoo. I learned a lot in the 5 years working there. Worm, Shawn warcot , Mike Trike, Brian Crank, Mike Collins, Atom Turk and Aaron Funk helped me learn so many great and horrible things that I wouldn’t change for the world. Other artists such as Matt Shamah, Mike Dewey and Jon Sanchez helped my art, tattoos, Taught me the business and about being a better tattooer. But like all good storiesin life, my time at Empire Tattoo came to an end.

So in 2003 me and close friend and fellow artist Aaron Funk we went to lunch and before we were done stuffing are bellies decided to open a new chapter in our lives. TATTOO REVOLUTION are own tattoo shop filled with great artists and filled with energy that nobody can top. Since the day the doors opened till the day it burns down to the ground it was built on it’s the place I will always call HOME.
